Forms
Your site’s contact and signup forms are powered by a forms plugin. Common ones are Gravity Forms, WPForms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, and Fluent Forms. The menu name in your Dashboard matches the plugin your site uses.
Where do submissions go?
Section titled “Where do submissions go?”Most forms do two things when someone hits Submit:
- Send an email notification to one or more addresses.
- Save an entry in the Dashboard (not every plugin does this; Contact Form 7, for example, only sends email).
To view saved entries, open your forms plugin’s menu (e.g. Forms → Entries in Gravity Forms, or WPForms → Entries).
Not getting form emails?
Section titled “Not getting form emails?”- Check your spam/junk folder first.
- Make sure the notification email address in the form settings is correct.
- If emails still don’t arrive, contact support. Email delivery from websites sometimes needs an SMTP setup.
Editing a form
Section titled “Editing a form”You can usually change labels, add fields, or update the notification email in the plugin’s form editor. Always send yourself a test submission after making changes.
